This marinade is so versatile it’s also perfect for shrimp or beef and pairs well with our Mango Avocado Salsa. The perfect way to end a weekday is by enjoying your evenings in the backyard grilling the BEST grilled chicken you’ll ever make! The great thing about this recipe is that you can control the heat factor, so if you want it spicier, just add more chipotles.

Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic smashed and peeled
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (i.e. Embasa brand)
  • 1 handful cilantro leaves
  • 1 juice of lime
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic smashed and peeled

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (i.e. Embasa brand)
  • 1 handful cilantro leaves
  • 1 juice of lime
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Recipe Instructions
  1. In a food processor add olive oil, honey, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic, chipotles, cilantro and lime juice.
  2. Let the food processor run until the marinade is thick but not chunky.
  3. Pour over chicken and marinade for at least four hours {remove 30 minutes prior to grilling}.
  4. Heat your grill to medium/ medium high heat and grill the chicken 6 to 8 minutes a side or until no longer pink.
  5. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
