Trevor Wuth survived a three-year battle with leukemia as a teenager and now cares for patients at Renown Children’s Hospital.
Trevor’s experience as a patient inspired him to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). A number of his current coworkers cared for him when he was a patient. Since they know his story, they often bring him in to answer questions from young leukemia patients at the hospital.
Trevor says his job fulfills his desire to help people and he contributes to the Children’s Hospital through the employee giving program.
“The best part of my job is to see kids who are hurting or struggling and help them get through this and see them brighten up.”
In the future, he plans to pursue his childhood dream of being a police officer, but will continue to give back by volunteering at the Children’s Hospital.
