Who doesn’t love a parade? But more than this, it’s a chance for you and your family to take a break from sheltering in place. Join us to celebrate the “LOVE” sculpture in a car parade on Friday, April 17 from 7-8 p.m. at Renown Health’s main campus at 1155 Mill Street. Make noise for Nevada’s heroes by honking, cheering and waving as you drive past the hospital and the LOVE sculpture. No stopping will be allowed, so please me mindful of traffic in the area. The “LOVE” sculpture art installation is a special partnership between Artown and Renown Health. It is designed by artist Laura Kimpton and built by artist Jeff Schomberg. Each night it’s 10 foot tall letters illuminate at Renown Regional Medical Center. This art installation is a special partnership between Artown and Renown Health.
The installation of the “LOVE” sculpture was funded by generous donors and the Renown Health Foundation. The sculpture, visible to cars and pedestrians, will be on display from April 16 – July 16 at Renown’s Regional Medical Center, located at 1155 Mill Street, Reno.
