Renown is a Green Zone Employer & What that Means to Veterans
As one of Nevada’s first companies to become a certified Green Zone Employer, Renown recruiters train to better understand the skill sets veterans gain through service. This initiative by former Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval provides employers the skills necessary to translate military service to civilian work experience – easing the transition for veterans to find employment. Renown also helps service members return from full-time deployment to ensure an easy transition back to their jobs.
Renown Received the Freedom Award in 2017
In 2017, Renown received the Freedom Award from the U.S. Department of Defense – the highest national award given to employers who go above and beyond to provide support and flexibility to employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserves.
Our Partnership with Nevada Air National Guard
In December of 2014, Renown also entered a training affiliation agreement with the Nevada Air National Guard. This agreement allows various disciplines – including clinical engineering, cardiopulmonary technology, nursing, and medical service corps – in the 152nd Medical Squadron to come to Renown facilities and train.
It is a privilege to have active military and veterans as employees of Renown. We will not forget the sacrifices they made to protect and defend our country.
