Educating Tomorrow's Physicians

Renown Health President and CEO Tony Slonim, MD, DrPH, explains the importance of education for the next generation of clinicians.

As the CEO of Renown Health System, one of my responsibilities involves planning for the future. One of the most important components of this mission is training tomorrow’s physicians, ensuring that Renown Health has access to a steady pipeline of well-trained, high quality clinicians.

Beyond that, I’ve dedicated myself to working with our physicians to make sure they develop the clinical and administrative skills they will need to care for our patients and community, and to advance their careers. I’m extremely proud of the strategic partnerships Renown has formed with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and St. George’s University of Medicine, allowing us not only to provide training opportunities for tomorrow’s clinicians, but to help ensure our community has access to world-class healthcare.
