Prostate Cancer survivor Charles Wilson, Jr. says cancer doesn’t scare him. “During my military career I’ve been blown up, shot down, and shot at. Cancer is not a threat to me,” he says. Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men—in the U.S. one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime.
Wilson credits his recovery to early detection. “This is a problem that has been solved. It is not a problem, due to early detection.”
