Pancakes with a Purpose: Short Stacks to Help Our Tiniest Patients

It’s a win-win: Enjoy a fun breakfast for a small donation and you’ll be helping some of our youngest patients who are facing some very complex medical issues.

For the past 17 years on National Pancake Day, IHOP restaurants in our region have been serving up a free short stack of pancakes in exchange for a small donation to support the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). On March 7, IHOP restaurants in the region will continue the tradition. As the only CMN Hospital in northern Nevada, Renown Children’s Hospital will receive 100 percent of the donations.

Proceeds help children like 11-year-old Tennyson Hunter, who has undergone more surgeries than most people will in their entire lives. Yet this bubbly boy enjoys joking around with the doctors, nurses and child life specialists who have come to love him during his stays at Renown Children’s Hospital.
